The Guardian Easy Care 2000 Standard Weight Wheelchair features full length (15") padded armrests and elevating legrests. It also comes standard with aluminum handrims, solid tires, black vinyl upholstery, and a chrome plated carbon steel frame. Sunrise warrants the frame and cross-brace for five years, a three year warranty on the rear tires, 90 day warranty on the upholstery and 1 year warranty on all other parts and components.

Unfortunately, my father recently found himself in need of a wheelchair, after suffering a broken hip and lesser injuries from a car crash. We all knew that the wheelchair would be needed on a temporary basis, as he progressed from using a wheelchair to a walker to a cane to unassisted walking. This is the one arranged by the insurance company, as a loaner. I was surprised at the quality of this basic chair. I am a quadriplegic and have used a wheelchair since 1975. I just spent almost $3,000 on an Invacare high-end-quality wheelchair, and was disappointed. After seeing this wheelchair by Guardian/Sunrise, that's who I'll look to for my next chair. For a basic, temporary-need wheelchair, the one depicted here was exactly what was needed.
