5 out of 5 stars outstanding   July 31, 2010
Michael Baker (San Antonio, TX USA)
I purchased this book about a year after having my ACL repaired. Went to work to get back in shape after a year of not running and lame weight workouts. The programs in this book really kick started my workouts and gave me back my strength and shape. I was skeptical at first when my wife suggested getting it (as I've been working out since I was in high school), but I'm glad I did. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get in shape or change their routine up. Lots of variety and loads of workout routines for any situation.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome collection of exercises and workouts   July 30, 2010

With this many different exercises you will never get bored with your workout. There are plenty of workouts for all kinds of purposes to keep you challenged for quite awhile. If you are looking for a lot of diet tips you would find them here but there are some general guidelines that are somewhat helpful. Great exercise resource.

5 out of 5 stars Can't wait for my next workout!   July 28, 2010
M. Rotenberg (Boston, MA)
I go to the gym about four to five days a week but was getting really bored with my workout. I saw this book so decided to pick it up since it looked like it had a number of new exercises I never have done before. I brought it to the gym with me the day I bought it (I don't care if I'm that guy) and I did a 2 hour workout on four muscle groups with just exercises I had never done before. It completely re-energized my routine and worked muscles in ways I wasn't doing previously. I walked out of the gym the first night feeling amazing, and I am pumped for my next routine. So many exercises you almost feel bad because there is no way you can do all of them on a muscle group in a few sessions at the gym. The pictures in the book and captions make it extremely clear how to do each excercise so you are using proper form. I even spent more money at the book store than I would have on amazon, but think it was well worth it. Can't wait for my next workout!

5 out of 5 stars Fantastic!   July 24, 2010
New lifter
I'll just echo what all the other reviews say: tons of excellent exercises and photographs.

Really, the only thing this book doesn't provide is the motivation to actually do any of the exercises within.
