From the supplier: A dozen Parkinson's disease patients experienced improvements in their motor development and self-confidence after walking 4 kilometers daily for a week in the mountains of Sweden. Despite the small test sample, the study's findings indicate that persons with Parkinson's disease can receive long-term benefits from physical training. The participants in the study showed an immediate increase in motor control and a persistent increase three months later, probably the result of increased activity at home due to heightened self-confidence.
