Blanchard and Root have done it again! This time they have ventured into the realm of content-based books, in this case U.S. history, and created a text that should be required reading for every ESL student of intermediate level or higher. American Roots has excellent readings to help students learn about the roots of American culture, and lots of varied, creative, effective skill-building exercises.
