Best INVESTMENT I ever bought!! Best/Funnest Toy Ever!!! November 27, 2008 I bought this for my 4 yr old son to use-I knew he was a little young for it, but he stopped using his training wheels on his bike when he wasd only 2 yrs old...so was it age appropriate as he is very athletic...Anyways, he has used this thing every day since I bought it for him! When he got on it for the first time, he scooted on it like it was a scooter to get going, but after a few days & my showing him, he started swaying back & forth & got it down pretty easy. On the first day, after I watched him ride on if for an hour, I got curious...I got right on and after watching him sail around on it, making these superfast 360 turns, I thought if a four year old can do it, no sweat...No Problem...I got going really fast and tried to turn like he did-bad idea...I flew off that thing like a rag doll and scraped up my elbow really bad- I was bleeding all over- it was a very humbeling experience that made me realize I'm not 18 anymore...(I'm 29, but still- there is a difference!) I'm 5'3 and can ride this comfortably, but when my fiance` got on it, he had a harder time, especially turning- he fell pretty bad too and scraped up not only his elbow, but both his knees as well...he fell twice though- He is 6'2 and is too tall to ride this safely- Anyone over 5'9 or so, the handle bars aren't tall enough to safely accomidate them. This is a awesome toy or scooter-whatever you want to call it, it's a blast, but don't get cocky or overly confident when you first get on it, especially when you are turning...you WILL fall- Hard. We weren't using any elbow or knee pads...(I know...my own fault...) but my son hasn't fell off of it yet and he is a dare devil on that thing! All the kids on our block love to ride this thing, but I always worry about one of them falling & getting hurt, even though none of them ever fall...I guess adults aren't as athletic as we think we are or as were were as kids! This is the funnest toy- just make sure you buy the protective pads- for youreslf! The one thing that I would change on iut is that I wish the height of the handlebars could be adjusted to accomidate my hubby to be...Right size for kids and teens, but probably not the best gift for a 6ft tall teen...We have HWF's in the house and since it got cold outside, I just let him ride around in the kitchen & hallways- it is fun and very easy to manuver around tight corners and small spaces! It will NOT work on carpet or grass...it says it in the instructions and I can't stress it enough, if you are going to ride it outside, do a quick check for like marble (the big ones) size rocks as they could send you flying, if you hit it "just" right...It is not for use on gravel or grass, or especially slippery or wet conditions-common sense stuff. If you don't abuse it, it won't abuse you!!!
It really is a great toy and well worth the price, as you will get your moneys worth!

My mom brought this home for me (I'm a nine and a half year old girl) becasue I wanted a scooter. I've played with the regular Razor scooters at a friend's house and wanted one. This one is way more cool. I can put both feet on it and it turns! You can maneuver it easily. My 12 year old brother, Jamie, tried it and he really liked it too. He asks me a lot if he can use it now. He has a Ripstick and he's really good on it so he did more hot dog stuff than me. I just like scooting around on it and I love the turning and breaking without having to use my foot (which wears out your shoes-- my mom likes it for that reason too). This is really fun. I highly recommend it.
Great Fun! September 28, 2008 My Grandchildren love this scooter. It's fun and good exercise. I like it's portability also. We have been taking it to football and soccer games for those times when boredom kicks in. (While your child is learning to ride this scooter, it is very important to have them wear a helmet and pads.)
for a 5 year old August 31, 2008 This Razor PowerWing Caster Scooter was purchased for my 5 year old grandson, who lives in Denver, CO. It arrived on time, was out of the box, assembled and in use with-in minutes. I was amazed at how quickly a young man could take to this machine. He was doing 'tricks' the first day.
The quality of the product is near indestructable. It gets daily use and is still in "new" condition. Would I recommend this product? .. a resounding "YES". FGH San Diego, CA
this item is great August 27, 2008 The Razor Powerwing Caster Scooter is Awesome!! It was quick to put together. When my 10year old first got it i wasn't sure he would be able to ride it properly but within minutes he figured it out. He is on this all the time. His 14 year old brother loves it too. Other kids who come to play things it's cool and the cousins are all getting them for Christmas now! This toy is a hit and gets them away from the video games!!!Only had it a month but it has seen a lot of use and still seems to be good quality.
