5 out of 5 stars Great Product   July 3, 2010

I have 1 dog and 1 cat in my house and neither have bothered it. They played with it a little at first and it did not burst. It has not lost any air and I use it frequently. Plus it is brightly colored pink so my husband doesnt mess with it! I would recommend to anyone.

1 out of 5 stars not an ideal fitness ball...   February 22, 2010
E. THOMSON (Fayetteville, NC)
I received this ball and pump a week ago and am highly dissatisfied. It came with a hand pump, an instructional DVD, and a "measuring tape." The measuring tape is just a long piece of paper without any markings on it other than a hole punch on each end, and it is the wrong size. The instructions indicated that you wrap the measuring tape around the ball and overlap the hole-punches over the inflation hole to guide you in pumping it up to 65 centimeters. My husband and I spent over an hour trying to pump it up and the ball will not pump up very well at all (perhaps more due to the hand pump than the ball, but we're not sure). Also, the measuring tape that came with it to serve as a guide is completely too large! We pumped the ball up as far as it would go, and there is still about 10 inches on the measuring tape! Also, the instructional video, which I will mention here is not an exercise video like I thought it would be, says to pump it up so there is just a little bit of give when you push on the ball and it should not flatten when you sit on it. Now, I only weight 115 lbs, and when I sit on the ball it completely flattens down to a squashed donut instead of a round ball. It can't possibly be used for working out as it is intended. We have continued to try to inflate it more, to no avail. If anything, we're only getting a triceps workout from continually trying to pump it up! It is inflated as far as it will go, but it just isn't firm enough or perhaps it has a slow leak or something??? We're at a loss, but I'm very disappointed that the ball cannot be used for it's primary purpose. It has, however, filled another purpose. IF we blow it up right before using it, we can sit on it and bounce our colicky baby to sleep. This has worked quite well, actually, but I still have to go out and purchase another ball for exercising safely.

5 out of 5 stars Love it.   January 7, 2010

Great ball. I been using it for about a year now. I use it for exercising and sitting at my computer. It is very durable. My kids even get a hold of it and play with it.It is hold up great for all the use it has been getting. Have had to put a little bit more air in it in the years time; no big deal though. Recommended.

4 out of 5 stars Very nice but saw this elsewhere for about 70% cheaper   August 16, 2009

This ball is great. I'm in the final weeks of pregnancy and after I use this ball at my computer-desk for 1hour+, I notice my back feels healthier and better adjusted versus when I use our nice leather office chair.. :) That really impressed me. Also good for doing various stretches for the spine.

The only thing is while I was waiting for this item to be shipped to me, I found the same exact ball at Ross for $9.98 and I suspect for even cheaper elsewhere. I have to worry about saving $ with a baby on the way... So other than being overpriced here, this ball is great!

5 out of 5 stars Great Ball   August 9, 2009

This ball was a good purchase. GREAT price. It was a pain in the NECK to blow up with the tiny hand pump but once it's blown up it's fine. Rolls easily into most corners for easy storage. I love it.
