I had a neck injury and I was suffering using just a regular pillow. The doc suggested this and I've been using it ever since. It supports your neck nicely while letting you use your regular pillow. Just slipped it in the pillowcase as per the instructions and I finally got a good night's sleep. True, it took a day or so to get used to it at first but the relief was quick and I can't sleep without it now. I travel with one whenever I go away. Definitely a great product and much cheaper here than paying what the therapist wanted to charge for the same thing. I tried one of those expensive fancier pillows and support contraptions and went right back to this one.

McKenzie Cervical Roll Neck Support If anything the McKenzie roll was a bit too firm. But it is supposed to provide the natural curvature for the neck, relieve pressure on the discs, and can be slipped inside your standard pillow. I am going to order a second one to use when I'm in my recliner watching TV. A very good buy.

This neck roll has relieved my neck pain and morning headaches.
Wonderful investment. It only took a few nights to get used to using it. Now I do not want to be without it.

I'd struggled with trying to find the "right" pillow for a long time and lost plenty of sleep with neck pain; finally when the daily pain got really bad, my neurosurgeon prescribed Physical Therapy before resorting to surgery. The therapist recommended a cervical roll--when I went on line to look for one, the McKenzie sort of popped out at me. After comparing, I chose the McKenzie; by combining it and daily exercises, I sleep well and wouldn't dream (pardon the pun) of going to bed or even lying down for a rest without it.
