Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Introducing the Buzz Around scooter, the only "travel scooter" in the industry with a 300 lb. weight capacity. The Buzz Around also offers a 70 amp board (versus the 40 to 45 amp boards in most travel scooters) giving you much more power to climb hills and inclines, as well as better turning capability on gravel, grass or high carpeting. The overall design lends itself to the most leg room in this class. Tiller can be adjusted forward to provide easier transfers in and out of scooter. Flat floor board allow the legs to sit straight in front of you, with feet in a flat comfortable position. And let's face it, you can have the best electronics and most power, but a comfortable seat is just as important. The Buzz Around has an ergonomically padded seat with adjustable arms for maximum comfort. Included are: 1 year service contract (for warranted parts and labor), batteries, charger, and armrests.

1 out of 5 stars Buzz Around review - do NOT buy!   August 29, 2005

I couldn't have had a worse choice for a scooter than the Buzzaround.
If you are disabled and don't have much strength in your legs and hands I advise you to forget about this scooter. Unfortunately all those sites that sell scooters don't tell the truth and don't post honest opinions of users, I know that because I sent in a negative review on this scooter to one of the major scooter suppliers and they did not post it.
Putting this scooter together is nothing short of a nightmare even when someone else does it for you. The pieces have to be put down and once down, the fun begins.
1. It is a struggle to align and put the front and rear pieces together.
2. Putting the locking pin is major nightmare, it just doesn't want to go in and you need a lot of strength to push it in.
3. Once that is done then you have to connect three battery electrical cables.

Together with the battery cover, seat and tiller it is a 12 step process!
the reverse process goes for disassembly with an added touch. Taking the plastic battery cover is very difficult, you need a screw driver or a key to separate it.

FINAL NOTE: it comes with one odd key that nobody can duplicate, it has a hole for key chain but the first time I wanted to put on a keychain it broke.
I cannot use this scooter alone, when I use it someone puts it together and takes it apart for me.
It performs okay on level roads and slopes but not so good on gravel, lose soil or grass. Sometimes it gets stuck on grass. Sometimes it just doesn't want to work. I definitely do NOT recommend this scooter. Don't waste your money on it.
