Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
This compact device makes monitoring both blood pressure and pulse foolproof. Just strap on the comfortable wrist cuff and push a button. The cuff automatically inflates and then deflates at the proper rate to provide fast, reliable readings on a large, easy-to-read digital display. Use the memory feature to recall up to 29 previous readings and display them with date and time. The monitor operates on two AA batteries (included) and carries a five-year warranty against defects. A step-by-step operating guide and a handy travel case accompany the device. --Fred Brack

2 out of 5 stars Inaccurate and worse....   November 16, 2004

This BP monitor is accurate -- and mine stopped working after a few months. Although they replaced it with a new one, I purcahse a different one anyway. I can't really complain though since I used a coupon from UnderTag.com, so it was almost free for me.

I bought it on May 19th 2002 and gave it as present to my father-in-law , who lives in foreign country.Unfortunately I never tested it before giving him this product. He opened the gift pack after 1 year , the first time and is not working at all.I don't suggest anybody to buy this product. If at all you want to present anyone anything just test it before you give them to avoid humiliation.I bought it for $64.I would have used this money for other purpose.

1 out of 5 stars Scared me to death!   November 1, 2001

So my blood pressure was running high-normal, and my Doc recommended that I take steps to lower it and get a BP monitor to track my progress. When I began using this I became more and more concerned that my head might pop off!! Just got back from my 2 month follow up. The good news is that my blood pressure has actually dropped a little. The bad news is that I wasted my money on this inaccurate piece of junk.
