Face Saver is fantastic July 3, 2008
This product makes an electric shaver worth having. It smooths the shaving experience and prevents razer burn. If you buy it I recommend shaving one last time with a razer then use your electric shaver with face saver everyday for a week while your face hair adjusts (it'll get softer over that week).
I hated my electric razer for years until buying face saver and recommend it highly. Shame you can hardly find it in many stores. One stick lasts years though.

I have used FaceSaver Powderstick for shaving for many, many years. It sets up my face for the electric shaver and for very pleasant electric shaving. Not able to find it locally, I appreciate finding it at Amazon.com.

Works great - not a hint of razor burn or irritation. I use it mainly on my neck and chin, which are the areas that are the most difficult to shave. Face Saver not only helps the razor glide more easily, it helps get those hairs on your neck that just won't stand up so they can get clipped.
I've used it with rotary and foil shavers - works very well with both, and clean-up is a snap. Unlike one reviewer, I don't find the scent objectionable (but I've never used the older version so I don't have anything to compare it to). In fact, I think it smells rather nice!
If you shave with an electric shaver, you simply have got to give this stuff a try.
