Perfect All The Time November 25, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Chanel No. 5 is legendary, and deservedly so. This is a fragrance that can be worn any time, any where. I first fell in love with it in my early 20s, proving that you don't have to be "mature" to appreciate this scent. It just so happens that I was also wearing it when my husband first fell in love with me, and one of the first things he remembers about our meeting was the way my perfume smelled. I haven't worn anything else ever since. Why mess with a good thing?
Unboxed Chanel #5 a bargain! June 27, 2007 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
So nice to be able to get the real thing at a lower price through Amazon! Not having the box is no problem, since it is packaged so well that that there is no spillage.
A Classic March 12, 2006 12 out of 12 found this review helpful
This is truly a timeless scent. I have loved it since I first remember my grandmother making it her signature fragrance. However, it is really not a floral I have been told. Instead it is labeled an "aldehyde fragrance" - not really duplicating anything in nature, but a scent in a class by itself until other aldehydes came into the picture. No wonder this was Marilyn Monroe's favorite perfume.
