The air that is taken into these small yet powerful air purifiers first goes through the HEPASilent filter. This filter is equipped with many weaves of polypropylene fibers that catch and trap particles of dirt. Millions of these fibers woven together prove to be effective at capturing 99 .7 percent of all particles in the air that are 0 .01 microns in size and larger. The AirPod also contains electrostatic technology in order to trap any other particles that may be present in the air. An electrostatically charged ionizer is present in these air purifiers. This ionizer gives a charge to the particles that are still present in the air inside the air purifier. These particles are then attracted to the filter media, which holds an opposite charge. The two opposite charges are drawn to each other, snatching these particles from the air and sticking them to the media.
