5 out of 5 stars Dansco Clog   November 23, 2008
After trying on a friend's new Dansko Professional clogs, I knew that they were just what I needed. I remembered that nurses seemed to wear them (in white) and as a teacher, I too was on my feet a good portion of the day. I checked prices locally and on the web, and Amazon beat everyone. My Dankso's are heavy and very substantial, and the arch support is more than adequate. The sizing is a bit tricky because they are European. I erred to the larger because I was right in the middle in US size, and they are perfect even with tights or thin knee socks. They have some really fashion-forward styles, but I went with basic black leather for a starter pair.

5 out of 5 stars Great buy!   November 22, 2008
This item was a great buy. I am very satisfied with the item I purchased and the timely manner in which I received it. I would highly recommend this seller to others.

5 out of 5 stars These make my size 9 feet look tiny!   November 18, 2008
I love these Danskos! I have this clog in black, size 39 (I normally wear a size 9). I went to a store to try these on so I got the correct size. I wear a thinner dress sock with these.

I've owned these Danskos for over 3 years, but the 1st time I wore them, it was on a trip to Vegas, lots of walking, and I was wearing *thick* socks with the Danskos. My feet were too hot! And I shouldn't have walked so much on the first wearing, it was silly of me not to break them in first before my trip. After that single unpleasant experience, they went into my closet and I forgot about them.

I pulled them out this last spring because I needed a shoe for a new job that wasn't a business dress shoe, yet wasn't a tennis shoe, and I didn't have time to shop for new shoes. These fit the bill, and I fell in love with them. I never wear tennis shoes to run errands in anymore, the Dansko clogs are always on my feet when I leave the house. Comfortable, yet so much more professional looking than a tennis shoe!

Major reason I love these shoes? They make my feet look tiny! I'm 5'9", so naturally, I'm going to have a larger foot than someone 1/2 a foot shorter than me. Size 9 shoes can sometimes look like clown shoes. But these Danskos rock, I wear them all the time with jeans or black chinos, just slip 'em on and go. When my sister (also a size 9 shoe) saw me wearing these Danskos, she immediately exclaimed how small and cute my feet looked. I've worn these steady for over 6 months, and she still compliments me on these Danskos.

5 out of 5 stars very comfortable   October 24, 2008
These shoes are very comfortable. Wear with thin socks to prevent them from stretching. Only negative thing is that they scratch easily

5 out of 5 stars Best shoes ever   October 21, 2008
I've been a Dansko wearer for about 5 years now. I still wear my first pair, but have several others. I am a hairstylist so a good, supportive shoe is a must. I have to warn anyone who wants a pair of these to keep something in mind; if they fit you in the heel they are too small! There should be a bit of "slip" when you walk in this shoe, as it should feel like a clog. People who don't like them usually buy the wrong size. A great investment!
