Lower Heat Bill November 24, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
These are not only good for winter running. Wear them under your unlined jeans and dress pants amazingly they help in lowering the heat bill inside. Albeit when you are visiting elderly relatives for the Holidays, they may get a tad warm. The technology retains your body heat when you go outside in the cold of winter. I now love taking winter hikes even in the below freezing days of midwestern winters.
Perfect fit April 6, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Being a short woman, I was surprised at how well these tights fit me. They are great for movement and warmth. No pockets to put house keys or tissues though.
warm running tights March 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
ordered these tights for my daughter. she loves them--has worn them everyday so far for track practice. they keep her legs warm and dry, but not hot. they look great and drip dry in a flash. and the length is great for her extra long legs, too!
Material is too thin! February 27, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
The material for these supposedly "frosty tights" are too thin. Not a great material for Chicago winter running.
Comfortable for running and keeps you warm! December 17, 2007 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
Bought these $50 tights for my 16 yo cross-country runner who averages 40 miles a week. Live in Seattle area, so winters average in 30s and 40s and are WET (surprise!). She really liked them and said that they kept her warm without making her hot, and didn't chafe - she didn't really notice them while she was running.
I was worried about the elastic at the bottom - I thought she would object to that - but she said her friend told her that the way to wear the tights is to pull them down over the heel so that they actually go in the shoe. That worked well for her plus her ankles were warm, too. She has long legs, by the way, but she had no trouble pulling the stretchy material down the extra distance.
I was going to buy her a pair of $70 tights at the local REI, so I saved $20 and am very happy!
