Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.com Review
You want a handheld massager to put its vibrating power into sore muscles, not to leave it in your hand. The AcuVibe massager, created by Human Touch , does just that by mounting a flexible motorized head on a solid, nonvibrating wand. With two speed options (4300 or 5700 vibrations per minute) and a maneuverable length, the AcuVibe is great for even sensitive areas like calves and shoulders. Use it while it's plugged in or charge up the batteries for 45 minutes of cord-free massage. Pleasant as well as effective, the AcuVibe includes relaxation nodes, dampened vibration, and a quiet motor. The charging light, simple power switch, and compact size make it efficient and portable to boot. --Emily Bedard

Outstanding product! Recharge feature is nice to have for use where outlets are not available.

5 out of 5 stars Cordless Massager hits all the spots   August 16, 2007

Excellent product, the rechargeable cordless aspect was the selling point for me. Massager seems to last for a good while on each charge without running down on power until the charge is completely used up. Good results as I have fibromyalgia and have to use different settings on different parts of my body each day so the hi and lo speeds are very good as well as the different shaped sides of the massaging head.

great product....the problem is I did not have time to enjoy it..the batteries died from the first day...why ? because I charged it for 3 hours only and then started using it...so I guess I damaged the batteries..Becarful it has to be charged for 12 hours before the first use. I bought Hitachi magic wand..didn't like it..this one is much better.

This was initially a purchase for use in a thereapeutic massage business.
I bought it for my daughter. She used it on us and for some of her clients in areas that needed repeated stimulation. Her therapist had used one on her and she loved it. Mind you, she says it does not replace massage technique, but merely adds to its effectiveness.

Very good when used on my hands and in the carpal tunnel area - which are RA affected and suffer from occasional numbness in my thumbs from impediments on the nerve

This thing is a must. Massage muscles etc. or use for more "alternate" purposes. Used with my partner for a good massage and more. She does not generally like other types of massagers (hates, actually), but she absolutely loved this one. One of the best buys I've made in a while!
