Decent shave September 15, 2007
I have also used the Braun for over two years and it has run flawlessly. I too have problems with it leaving random hairs on my neck (despite my best efforts to get them) that I need to clip off with the clipper attachment from time to time. Otherwise it is an excellent,comfortable shaver that I highly recommend.

I have had the Braun 7600 series razor for about 2 1/2 years. Overall I was happy with the shave. However last week it broke and there is no way of really repairing it. The battery charge has completely gone so I think I will buy a Philips to try next.
Problems:
Braun cleaning system is really noisy.
Was hard to get clean shave on neck - kept leaving some hairs.
Only lasted 2 1/2 years

my man loves it, has been using it for about 2 years and it's his favorite raiser. easy to maintain, easy to use, shaves smooth.

Lots of great features. The only thing thing this system doesn't do well is shave. I find myself shaving 3 times as often as I used to.

I've been using electric razors my whole life and always had problems with my razor irritating my skin. I also tend to have a heavier beard and the closeness electric razors offered was always subpar for me. Then I got this thing. It really is amazing. As amazing as a razor can be that is. I've never used a razor that cuts through even long hair as quickly and efficiently as thing does. I rarely have to use the long hair trimmer, this thing takes care of it all. Once you use the self cleaning function you will never go back to anything else. Every time you clean it it's like it was brand new. Spend the extra money and get this razor. You won't be disappointed.
