Product Description
For daily beard maintenance or for making a big change to facial hair, Wahl's Groomsman trimmer is the device you need. The Groomsman's high-carbon steel blades are precision-ground to provide a close cut and stay sharp longer. A six-position beard regulator easily attaches to the trimmer's head to provide consistent and safe tapering and trimming of beards and mustaches. The six positions range from a height that tackles longer hairs, (for example, if you are shaving off your beard) all the way down to a short height for trimming daily stubble. For convenience, the beard regulator remembers the last set length height until you change it.

For additional comfort during shaving, the Groomsman has a contoured ergonomic handle with soft gripping pads for a secure grasp. The Groomsman operates either plugged in via its electric charger, or runs on its long-lasting nickel-cadmium battery which is estimated to last three to five years before needing replacement. The trimmer and charger are small enough to stash in the included pouch for travel along with the accessories--the beard regulator, the jaw line blender, two close-trim attachments, a mustache comb, cleaning oil, and a cleaning brush. A storage stand holds the trimmer and all accompanying accoutrements in your regular trimming location. Wahl's Groomsman trimmer is covered by a two-year limited warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

2 out of 5 stars Good shaver, not good trimmer   January 4, 2009
The razor still works but the plastic attachments are plastic and break easily. I am ordering another brand but I could not recommend this. The whole reason for having a beard/mustache trimmer is having quality attachments that allow for different levels of trim. The quality of these attachments is sub par and not worth it at any cost.

1 out of 5 stars Ouch   December 27, 2008
I bought this not too long ago to replace an old norelco trimmer. This wahl one looked good, but it had too many problems. First, I could not get the attachments on or off. It shouldn't be that complicated. More importantly, this trimmer hurts. It would catch the hair and not cut it evenly. Very disappointed and a waste of money. Back to the Norelco.

3 out of 5 stars An OK Product   December 20, 2008
The adjustable plastic trimmer is difficult to assemble and adjust.
The width of the blade is good for trimming hair in the lower lip area.

5 out of 5 stars High Quality   December 13, 2008
Not a cheap little gadget.. sturdy and well built. In this class of trimmer, this is what you want.

5 out of 5 stars Wahl Groomsman   December 12, 2008
Works great so far (1 month). The plastic fittings are a little tricky but once they get broke in (loosen up) they work well.
