Product Description Taylor 7506 Chrome & Glass Lithium Digital Scale
Amazon.com Part of any responsible weight loss or fitness program should involve picking out an accurate scale to monitor results. This model from Taylor guarantees precise weight readings and runs on a lithium battery--which is not likely to die or weaken during the lifetime of the scale. The scale's attractive tempered-glass top mounts on an industrial-style chrome base, and measures 12-3/4 inches across, offering a spacious platform to stand on. The scale turns on with a quick step onto the glass platform. A large 1-inch LCD display makes it easy to see readings without bending down. Weight readings lock and display for 5 seconds before the unit shuts off to conserve battery power. The scale holds up to 300 pounds, and is covered by Taylor under a lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

4 years and counting... December 26, 2008 I've had this scale for over 4 years. It has moved with me three times. It looks great, and the glass design makes your bathroom look bigger because you can see through to the floor. It is a fabulous scale and very consistent. I don't notice any of the problems listed in the negative reviews and plan to buy one for my parents. I have noticed that it takes 1-2 extra tries when it's cold (below 50 degrees). My battery still works great after 4 years, and I use the scale 3-4 times a day. I love this scale!!
Good for a home scale that is under $30 February 25, 2008 I wanted a nice, economical scale to use in the bathroom as a general guide. For the price point, it does a good job. I am 2 pounds heaver on this scale than the professional quality at the gym. The good news is, it seems like it is a consistent 2 pounds. It's nice, pretty, and the numbers are readable.
Garbage December 5, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I am not that gu y that writes negative reviews but this product changed my views on that practice. This is a piece of trash product. Six months and it stopped working for good. They should be ashamed for putting out such junk and expecting the American people to spend their hard earned money on it.
P.S
Nice to see that my original review was deleted. This product is pure trash and everyone needs to know it.
scale that needs pampering November 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This scale doesn't give readings when it's cold. I have to warm it up with a spaceheater for it to work in the winter because I keep it in the laundry room. Is anyone else having this problem? Also, I find that it tells me I'm 3 pounds or so lighter than I am, which is very flattering, but it's just not true.
junk October 17, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I agree that the scale looks nice, but a pretty scale and $.41 will buy you a stamp. This piece of junk didn't last a month before it went blank. Replacement batteries didn't work. The reviews confirm that there's enough problems with this product to warrant spending your money elsewhere. Otherwise, you'll end up like me trying (but not succeeding) to salvage some self respect by writing a "bad scale" review.
