Used it for years November 29, 2008
I've been using this penlight for over 10 years, first as a student and then as a professional optometrist. It's solid, bright and easy. The thumb switch on the end is easy and sure. It's not much heavier than a fancy pen and about the same size.
I've only ever had to replace it once, after breaking the switch on my first one after about seven years. The current one is going strong.
My only complaint is that it's not available in an LED form yet to extend the battery life.

Seller shipped item pretty fast and it came in perfect condition (carefully wrapped). I actually bought this for my sister who's an ophthalmologist and from what's she said this is one of the best penlights.

this is a great aid for someone who has had eye surgery and needs (at times) a bright light for reading...I needed replacement lens and require good lightening...it is very good for reading menus in less than favorable light or a map or serial numbers in inconvient places...My optomitrist suggested it for me and it has been a great help
