 great scale October 4, 2008
I bought this for my sister-in-law last Christmas (she wanted a scale; otherwise it would have been incredibly tactless to give her one),and every time I see her, she tells me how much she likes it. The sleek styling (most scales are pretty ugly)and its accuracy are a winning combination.

Aside from it being a "digital" scale there is nothing special about the scale. In my opinion, it's not as sturdy as the traditional ones with the needle hands, despite it has a more "precise" reading and display.
At night, since it's not back lit, you still can't see the numbers.
It takes a while for the scale to register the weight and show it to you. I'm guessing that's pretty standard for all the digital scales?
Its accuracy depends on the surface it sits on. Seems to like tile and hard floors more than carpet. Again, might just be a standard scale thing.
We have a very old, sick cat. We've been using it to weight the cat while we hold the cat in our arms. Seems to work fine.
Not sure if the scale has a break-in period, but it seems to work better now that it's been used for a couple of weeks.
In the end, it's a keeper.

While I may not like what is says to me, I love it, anyway! It is lightweight, just happened to fit in well with the decor of the room. I find my guests can't resist checking it out. Its look is sleek, contemporary and very stylish - almost futuristic. The price is exceptional for its capabilities and versatility - usuable domestically or abroad. So far, maintenance is virtually hands-free. Highly recommended! And it's from a company you can trust.

The scale is fine. The design is great; numbers are easy to read. However, it does have one weird problem. You have to tap (rather strongly) on the corner of the scale in order for it to work. That is even included in the directions.
