Product Description
Many people want to experience the benefits that come from regular bike riding, but don't have the time or agility needed. Pedal exercisers offers an effective solution for achieving a biking-like workout without bulky equipment. Our Standard Pedal Exerciser allows you to workout in different places, like at work or in your living room, and can be used for leg or arm exercise. This sturdy standard pedal exerciser is an economical way to get the upper and lower body aerobic workout you need. Made of high quality 1" chrome-plated steel tubing, it has 4 flat-bottom rubber feet to grip the floor and adjustable pedal straps to keep your feet in place. Can be used for upper body exercises by placing it on a table and using your arms or for lower body exercises placed on the floor and pedaled with your feet. It helps you improve blood circulation, muscle strength, joint flexibility and coordination. Easy to move around and store, you can place it in front of a chair, under a desk or on a table. Controlling the amount of resistance is easy: Turn the knob clockwise for more resistance and counterclockwise for less. Start your exercise program slowly and gradually work up to 20 minutes of exercise at least three times a week. Don't overdo! ALWAYS consult a physician before beginning this, or any other, exercise program.

4 out of 5 stars Good   November 27, 2008
Its a great product that i just keep by my computer and whip it out whenever.....its easy and does give tension and the grip at the feet help hold in place perfectly. I only wish it gave more tension options...but i get what I paid for.

5 out of 5 stars important help   October 30, 2008
I had a knee replacement and needed some way to exercise more at home. This works really well in helping my knee.

4 out of 5 stars Perfect for Couch Potatoes   October 30, 2008
This isn't an exercise device for a full body workout, but if you like to veg out in front of the TV sometimes (or often) and feel guilty because you're not moving your body, try this. You can watch the tube and pedal at the same time. It's not too strenuous, but even fidgeting burns some calories and helps your circulation more than lying down or sitting still. So using this on a regular basis must confer some health benefit. Of course, use it in ADDITION to whatever other forms of exercise you get, and don't depend on it for total fitness--it's just not going to do all that. It slips away from me a little, so I just brace it up against the bottom of the coffee table--problem solved. Good investment.
