Easy to read, simply step on the scale May 20, 2008 This scale has large, red numbers and I find it easy to read. You simply step on the scale, no need to fiddle with any controls, and it displays the number after a few seconds.
Very Poor Scale December 18, 2007 This is the worst scale I have ever purchased. I purchased it because of the large numbers. The scale never corrected its weight once you got on it no matter how many times I tried to get an improved reading. I would have to wait until the next day to get a new reading. The scale was also very loose - in other words, when I lifted it up or down, the scale would wiggle a lot and become noisy when I put it down. I thought it was broken but couldn't find anything wrong with it. I was greatly disappointed in it. The next scale I purchase will have to be a mechanical one where I can see the weight dial move back and forth. I am a small person who weighs no more than 103 pounds and this scale would always say 190.60 pounds or 153.40 pounds or 180.90 pounds. I knew the scale was off immediately; I purchased new batteries several times thinking this was the problem but it wasn't. I threw it out with the trash as I feel that this scale was very defective and I won't buy another one of this sort. I am going back to the old fashion ones where I can see the scale dial actually move in front of me; thereby, giving me a more accurate weight. It's too bad I wasted my money on this scale because it had an attractive look to it.
Inaccurate December 2, 2007 I received mine and it was immediately 3 lbs off. It has never been accurate.
Easy to read and use, works as advertised May 13, 2007 We just got delivery of this scale yesterday. I have marginal vision, just barely legal for driving, and I often have trouble reading LCD displays indoors, so I purchsed this scale for its large LED readout. It is very easy to read, even for me. It's easy to use -- step on, the unit turns on automatically and shows your weight in a few seconds. Then step off, and it turns off automatically. If it can't read your weight accurately because of some disturbance -- shifting your weight, for example, it displays a C on the readout. Just step off and step back on to try again.
My only concern is that the LED display may go through lots of batteries. I've only had it a day, so I can't say. But 9V batteries are cheap and easy to find, so I don't really think it matters too much.
Nice, easy to read, easy to use March 29, 2007 19 out of 19 found this review helpful
This is a nice scale. The large, red LED display is easy to read. I've had the earlier model of this brand of scale for about 10 years. This newer version reads down to the tenth of a pound (the old one just did half pounds). This one also resets quickly in between readings... that is, if you weigh yourself, step off, then weigh again, it automatically reads the new weight. With the older version, you had to step off for a couple of seconds and it seemed to keep the initial weight reading in memory. That was obnoxious. I have no complaints about this scale.
