This ball is not made of thick rubber like you're used to with the large swedish balls at the gym. It popped on me after about 4 months (I am 6ft 170lbs) while I was using it for sit ups.
If you decide to buy it, don't let them sucker you into buying a pump for it. You can blow the ball up like a balloon and don't need the pump.

This ball is perfect for doing the Bender Ball Core workout, pretty much the same thing as what is in the informercial.

Great ball at a fraction of the price July 6, 2008
I bought this ball shortly after my GF saw an infomercial on TV. This is a great, sturdy, exercise ball at a fraction of the price it goes for on TV. My GF uses it everday & has never had a problem with it. If you're looking for something to help you with your cruntches this might be the way.

The ball is very easy to assemble. It's soft and supple. It's just a big disappointment because as I try to exercise with it, it slips all over the place and my exercise efforts are completely defeated.
