I was looking for a wheelchair to take her around and at the same time make sure the wheelchair is easily transportable. For someone who has never purchased a wheelchair, had no idea about what to look for, I went looking on Amazon and read through ALL the reviews to find this particular wheelchair. I went through ALL the reviews and was NOT disappointed at all. Ideal for shorter trips or light use. Pros: Great price, Lightweight, easily transportable, fits nicely in trunk, cool blue color available, small but sturdy tires (probably not designed for it, but works well) Cons: Footrests come out easily when you try to fit into the trunk, otherwise stick well to the chair. As I'm getting older, it was becoming more difficult for me to maneuver this chair in and out of my car by myself. I bought this transport chair and absolutely love it! It is so much lighter in weight (18 lbs) compared to a regular wheelchair. It folds up extremely easy and is so easy to get in and out of my car. Both of my parents say that it is very comfortable for them. I was telling my friend about this chair and she is also in need of one so I ordered this exact same chair for her. The price is great compared to some other places that I could have got this exact same chair from. DRIVE said it was from use...not covered. I sent photos showing the arms were perfect except at the seams, where the fabric was attached to the plastic frame. I held off writing a review but DRIVE Medical did not acknowledge. I can not recommend any product from a company that does not stand behind what they sell...it wasn't even 90 days later! Great buy, took it to overseas, cannot be more happy with the price and quality. Strongly recommended. A very rough ride! December 1, 2009 badgerblind (BC, Canada) Overall, the chair worked as advertised. And it was easy to assemble (there was basically no assembly required!). But I have a real beef with the ride: on anything other than glass-smooth surfaces, every little bump is magnified, and every medium-sized crack or grade is potential cause for a dangerous spill!
