 Smokeless chewer gone King B - 6 Months and counting September 29, 2008
I have chewed for 28 years and have tried a lot of ways to quit chewing over the past 10. I have used anything from gum to mints to cold turkey. What I have found is that the nicotine is the easy part. Forget patches and such because in my opinion it does not address the real dependency. The nicotine aspect I can kick in the first week or so. What remains is the mental dependency of which for me it is the toughest. This aspect of the habit is always what brings me back to dipping.
When using the gum, mints or the cold turkey method, the process was always so different that it interrupted my thoughts with a desire for dip. The jerky chew method has helped and I have very little desire for the real stuff. I have not kicked my metal dependence on going through the motions yet but when I am ready I will expect that it will be much simpler as I am noticing a lot fewer things trigger my desire for dip. Worst case you save a ton of money by not purchasing the real thing. Out here in Seattle Cope is running $9.75 a can. I get 36 cans of jerky chew for about the price of 3 cans of the real stuff.
If you're looking to quit dipping the real stuff, set yourself up on an automated replenishment plan, using subscribe and save. I always have a few cans left when the new shipment comes in and the kids love it when the new stuff arrives.

I have bought this product in stores for years. When I got the chance to buy it here and cheaper..i jumped at it.
It is a really great tasting jerky and is much better than the jack links shredded jerk.
Use it instead of snuff!
