 Excellent razor November 26, 2008
Over the years I have progressed from Remington to Braun and now to Panasonic. My last three electric razors have been Braun. They did a good job; far better than the old Remingtons (I don't know about the current Remingtons). The Brauns are expensive and they just don't last long. I paid between $150 and $250 for each of them and none of them lasted over two years and the last two craped out at about 1 year. So I was willing to try something different and gave Panasonic a try. Great razor. On my face (fairly light beard) I really do get almost a blade razor shave; at least the closest of any electric razor I've ever used including the Brauns.
Some people have complained about the noise. Compared to the Brauns the Panasonic is quiet. A constant not unpleasent not too loud buzz.
Two small downsides. The razor will not work while recharging...the Brauns would so you cold use them as a corded razor. The second is that I cannot find replacement foils and blades locally so it looks like I will have to order them ahead of time.
Bottom line. Best electric razor I've ever used. Really does give almost a blade razor shave.
Review of Panasonic Wet/Dry Electric Razor November 25, 2008
I Have been Very Pleased with this razor. Have never been able to shave with an Electric before, It always made my face Breakout. Once your beard gets use to the change from a Blade it is even better for closness and smoothness. The razor is easy to use and to clean. I determined that after the first year I will save about half of the cost of shaving with a Blade.

I like it. It feels a little light, but that seems to be the cause with every battery shaver nowadays. The charger is connected with a plug. A wireless docking station would be better.

Works best dry on me. Holds charge well. Can take on a weeks trip without charger. Shaves quickly and evenly. A bit loud but you get used to it. Battery light only flashes when running out.

I always had a rash on my face after shaving, and now I finally found a shaver that doesn't do that.
Recommended to anyone.
