 Excellent for elderly August 11, 2008
I purchased this for my grandmother and she loves it! I also purchased one for my Mother in Law and she loves it as well. It makes it much easier for them. This product is wonderful.

We got this for my uncle, who had fallen a few times in the bathroom, and who sometimes suffered with knee problems that made it difficult to stand up from the toilet.
It was easy to install and has added security and stability for him. I am very pleased.

I installed this according to manufacturer recommendations and my mother likes it, but the legs seem jittery, like they can slide a little. This may frighten her if she's using the toilet in the middle of the night. I have to put some kind of rubber reinforcement on the bottom of the foot so it doesn't slide as much (there is shiny linoleum in my mother's apartment and I can't put a bath rug underneath because she uses a walker and will trip). I was pleased with the price and the ease of install, just a little freaked out by the slight wobble.

Arrived promptly, easy to install, works well with extended seat Carex Raised Toilet Seat. Great help with recovery from knee surgery.

This was very easy to install. It has really helped me. Getting up is less stressful for my knees since I have gained so much weight. I would recommend this highly for those who have knee and weight problems. Working on the weight problem will help in the long run.
