I could not find too many carbs.... but if you can deal without some carbs, go for it.

5 out of 5 stars No more... "I don't know where to start". Now you do!   February 25, 2007

This is by far the best informational upright health and fitness book I've read so far, and I've read a lot. Jillian is right there talking to you, strait and to the point. No fooling around. Problems and solutions. She explains things so simply. You either do or don't. It's really like she's talking directly to you. So easy and user friendly. She really knows her stuff. First health & nutrition, what works what doesn't. Then exercise and exactly how to do each and every one (with pictures) whether at home or when you get to the gym, so you look like you know what you're doing. I highly recommend this book and Jillian for the novice and for those who have drifted way away (me) and want to get their body back. Thanks Jillian. Wish you were my personal trainer!

3 out of 5 stars It's been done before   February 20, 2007

If you've never read a health and fitness book before, this would be just as good as many out there because it gives you all of the basics. But if you are looking for new information, don't waste your money. Everything in this book has been written by others before.
