A Must Have Resource December 14, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This book is absolutely wonderful if you want an extremely easy-to-use, succint book of exercises. I'm just starting to teach and find it to be an incredibly useful resource for coming up with lesson plans. This is not for the rider who wants in-depth instructions on riding or training, though useful and salient points are made about performing the exercises. There are plenty of other books that provide in-depth instruction. This book fills its very own, very important niche and it is by far one of my favorite resources.
Loving this book! October 6, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I love this book, it is simple for the simple minded. Allowing your brain to open without hurting! lol! So highly recommended!
Exercises make hard work more fun September 24, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Dressage requires great attention to many small details and a clear head to keep them all straight. 101 Dressage Exercises helps you focus on the details in a fun way. At my barn we often challenge each other to see who can do an exercise most correctly with our trainer as coach and referee. We have ended up riding better becuase we made these into a good-natured game.
Exercises for Dressage May 29, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is an excellent way to keep track of your progress and stay focused on your work. It starts out with simple exercises and continues to progress in skill levels as you accomplish each one. Great warm ups, easy to understand.
dressage exercises May 16, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a terrific book, very simply designed and expressed. It has given me a large number of ideas for warm up, planning my sessions and the exercises to improve my dressage skills.
I just have to make the time to get on with the exercises now.
