this is a great product. I gave the speaker pillow to a friend as a gift. She loves the fact that she does not have to use earbuds when she listens to her Ipod before bed. this product is quality built and has good sound quality.

At last, I can go to sleep to my favorite music and not have to worry about ear phones.. just wrap my head in sound.. I love this product. And the CD that comes with it has beautiful, soothing music.

After the latest in a long string of earbuds stopped working, I looked for an alternative. This one had the best reviews and I took a chance. It has a heavy duty cord which should last much longer than the ultra-thin earbud wire. Ofcourse it works fine as an under the pillow speaker, but I've found it is more functional and comfortable to wrap it in a small pillow case and use it as a combination eye shade/speaker. The fidelity is better that way, too. The volume range is very good: from so low only I can hear to loud enough to be heard across the room. At the low level the sound is good for both voice and music; at the high level a bit tinny. Also, if something annoying is being broadcast on the radio it's easy to slide the speaker away from the ear slightly till it's over. At first I thought only one speaker was working; pulling the plug out slightly fixed that. I like it.

The design is very good. The sound is quite clear. Also, the cord connecting to your iPod or other device is fairly long, about three feet.
All in all, a top quality product.

I BOUGHT MY HUSBAND THE PILLOW SPEAK AS A SURPRISE. HE LIKES A SOUND MACHINE AT NIGHT AND I LIKE THE TV. NOW WE HAVE THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. HE TELLS EVERYONE ABOUT IT. "BEST GIFT EVER" HE SAYS. I HAVE ALSO NOTICED AN ADDED BENIFIT; ALTHOUGH HE DOES NOT SNORE LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN, HE DOES SNORE MOST NIGHTS AND THE SPEAKER PILLOW HAS HELPED WITH THAT. I DON'T KNOW WHY, I DON'T CARE WHY, I JUST KNOW THE SNORING HAS JUST ABOUT STOPPED. YEA! THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT IT TOOK LONGER TO RECEIVE THAN I THOUGHT IT SHOULD, APPROX A WEEK LONGER. I GIVE THIS PILLOW SPEAKER AN A-.
