I am a 61 yr old woman with a bad disc and limited knowledge of construction. Having said that, I received this a few days ago and put it together myself. I am sure it took me longer to do this than it would have a skilled person but it works perfectly. If you can read instructions and/or follow the pictures, you can put it together. I use it for my laptop computer. I wanted to be able to stand at my computer some of the time and sit at other times. This works perfectly. The lift/lower mechanism comes already assembled (bless you for that!). If you have children who might bump into this, you would want to guard anything that is sitting on it (the "border" around the edge is not very high but is nice & will keep pencils from rolling off). Otherwise, I am very pleased with it!

I purchased this table with one thing in mine, my laptop, and how easy it is to clean, and everything is fantastic. I looked at many that tilted, some that had a drawer in them - while these are awesome amenities I found that those features were not necessary for me.
My husband had this assembled in minutes - had I not been lazy I'm sure I could have assembled it myself, very few steps. Moves effortlessly over our carpet. I'm even considering decoupaging the top surface with beautiful pictures of my family and sealing with a gloss coat. I love adding my personal touch to things and figured that since the top was made of a very durable plastic it would be a good medium - vs - the typical wood veneered "hospital" style bed tables.
The price was not bank breaking either - also the cheapest that I was able to research in my search for the quality.
I would recommend to anyone who loves to lay in bed with their laptop before sleeping and read the news or anything - even for e-mailing when you don't want to get out of bed when your husband is so warm and cuddley
in the morning but you need something to do. heheh
Very easy to adjust its height. Almost like it glides up and down - very smooth.

We received this yesterday, and my husband did the assembly. It didn't take him long, but he did need me to hold something while he tightened a bolt. You should be prepared for some assembly when the item arrives.
I love the surface. It is neutral, nice, and just the right size. Not too big and not too small.
I also adore the adjustability of height. Wow! Easy as pie. And a very wide range of heights. I love it next to the bed. And it will easily roll around the foot of the bed, down the hall and into the living room, if I should ever want it there.
I am so glad to have this table. It is really great.

I bought this to use as a bedside laptop desk. I like to do my work while sitting in bed at night. It is so easy to raise and lower to get it the perfect height. The wheels slide under the bed so that my laptop is right where I need it. This is so much better than the laptop desk I used to have.

I have looked at several {over the bed tables} and this has turned out to be a very good choice. As the product information states, the top is made of a grey composite, {sturdy, and easy to clean}. Although I did cut apiece of rubber mating and placed it on the eating surface so a dinner plate would not slide around. The table was packed well, therefore it arrived with no damage. It was easy to assemble, and had quality hardware. The only
issue I had with the table, is that the eating surface could have been at least four inches longer, {the person using it has to get very close to the edge of a bed to eat comfortably}. But for the price, you would be hard pressed to find another table with the same quality. P.S. If the manufacturer of this table check's the feed back it receives about it's product, let it be known if the table was in-fact four inches longer, it would be flying of the shelves. It then, would rate Four Stars.
